Q&A

Your journey is incredibly unique. How did it all begin, and what led you to where you are today?

My journey really started when I was four years old and realized I could draw. That moment stayed with me because it felt natural and exciting, and it became the foundation of everything I would later build.

Over the years, I studied many disciplines, gained qualifications across different sectors, and continued developing both my creative and business skills. A major turning point came in 2005 when I debuted at Swatch Alternative Fashion Week. That experience opened the door to industry leaders who encouraged me to think bigger and build a real global brand.

At that point, I understood that talent alone was not enough. I needed to learn how businesses truly operate. So I spent more than 15 years working inside leading UK and international corporate companies, learning about operations, strategy, systems, and leadership. I worked in corporate offices during the day and developed my own ventures at night and on weekends. Those years gave me the knowledge and discipline to eventually launch my global brand, Emotionism-Art, and later HMG Global Monument Heritage Group LTD.

What kept you motivated during the difficult stages of building your companies?

For me, this has never been just about business. It is connected to my life purpose. That is what keeps me motivated every single day.

I think about the legacy I want to leave behind, the people connected to our mission, and the value we can create for customers and future generations. Purpose gives me energy, especially during difficult moments. Even when challenges appear, I stay focused on the bigger picture and continue moving forward.

Was there a defining challenge that shaped your leadership journey?

One of the biggest challenges was building my ventures without venture capital funding during the early stages. At that point, there was no established marketplace and no guaranteed customer base. I had to finance everything myself, step by step, over many years.

I invested my own resources into product development, marketing, business operations, and brand building. It was a slow process, but it taught me patience, resilience, and discipline. Looking back, I believe that experience made the business stronger because every stage was carefully built with intention.

I always tell entrepreneurs not to let rejection stop them. A “no” from an investor does not mean your vision lacks value. Sometimes it simply means you must build it yourself first and let the results speak later.

Your work combines innovation, art, and business. How do you encourage collaboration within your organization?

Collaboration works best when everyone shares the same vision and goals. My teams and business partners understand the direction we are moving toward, and each person leads within their own area of expertise.

I believe communication is one of the most important parts of leadership. We work together as one large organizational group, even across different sectors and partnerships. Everyone understands their role and contributes toward the same outcome.

Strong collaboration also comes from mutual respect. When people feel valued and trusted, they naturally perform better and become more invested in the success of the mission.

What qualities do you believe separate great leaders from average ones?

I believe top-performing leaders are dedicated, adaptable, and solution-focused. They know how to remain calm under pressure and continue delivering results even during adversity.

Another important quality is being people-oriented. Leadership is not about standing above the team. It is about working with the team and helping others succeed. Great leaders inspire confidence in people and create environments where growth becomes possible.

Vision is also essential. Leaders need to think beyond the present moment and prepare for what is coming next.

Mentorship clearly played an important role in your growth. How has it influenced your leadership style?

I learned valuable lessons from professors, managers, directors, and leaders throughout my career. Many of them taught me how to solve problems properly and never give up when obstacles appear.

One thing that stayed with me was the belief that there is always a way forward if you remain ethical, patient, and focused. That mindset shaped the way I approach leadership today.

I also try to lead by example with my own achievements. I want my teams to feel inspired and confident enough to take on difficult or unique challenges. Encouragement is very important because confidence often becomes the starting point for success.

Your business focuses heavily on future trends and sustainability. Why is that important to you?

The world is changing quickly, and businesses must think ahead instead of reacting too late. Sustainability, digital assets, and changing customer behavior are already shaping the future of many industries.

For example, our sustainable cosmetics division is designed around future climate realities and reducing unnecessary waste. We are thinking about how products will function in changing environmental conditions and how customer priorities will evolve over time.

I believe businesses have a responsibility not only to grow financially but also to contribute positively to future generations and the planet.

Was there a personal lesson that deeply influenced the way you lead today?

Yes, absolutely. My mother had her own small business in the 1980s, and she taught me something I still follow today: “If you are going to do anything, do it properly or do not do it at all.”

That lesson shaped my standards and work ethic from a very young age. I apply that thinking to every project, partnership, and business decision. Excellence comes from discipline and consistency.

What advice would you give to emerging leaders who want to create meaningful impact?

I would tell them to keep their ideas simple, innovative, and valuable. Success comes when you solve real problems and create value for others.

There is a quote from Albert Einstein that stayed with me for many years: “To be successful, one must be of value.” I truly believe that. Focus on creating value first, and success will naturally follow.

Most importantly, stay patient and trust the process. Big visions often take years to build properly.

Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future?

What excites me most is seeing the long-term impact of the products, systems, and innovations we are building now. Whether it is investors appreciating our art investment models or customers benefiting from our sustainable products, those moments are deeply rewarding.

I am also excited about the future evolution of sustainability across industries. I believe businesses around the world will continue developing smarter systems that reduce waste and improve the future of our planet.

For me, the journey is still only beginning, and I look forward to the next stage of growth, innovation, and global impact.
